Every image captured in mono+ carries its DNA — a complete specification of the recipe you've baked in… filter, grain, color tone, decay, borders.
Open PRO on your iPhone, go to SETTINGS, tap Import Look from Photo. Choose any mono+ image from your camera roll. The look is extracted and applied to your current session.
Browse the mono+ gallery, find a shot you love, tap Get This Look. If the photographer shared their look DNA, it installs instantly. Their creative signature, your shots.
Every mono+ photo you send already carries the look. AirDrop, Messages, Instagram DM — wherever the image goes, the recipe goes with it. The recipient opens it in mono+ to extract the look.
Open the mono+ Desktop Companion, drag any mono+ image onto the window. The look is extracted and appears as a new preset in your library — ready to edit, name, and send back to your iPhone.
Look DNA is written to the standard EXIF UserComment field as JSON. Any EXIF viewer can read it. The format is open — the data belongs to you and travels freely with your images.
When you submit a photo to the mono+ gallery, the look DNA is read automatically from the file. No need to select which filter you used — the image already knows.
Every parameter you can set in the mono+ PRO panel is encoded in the Look DNA. Nothing is omitted.
