The short version
We collect very little. We sell nothing.
mono+ is a camera app. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything beyond operating the app and communicating with you when you've asked us to.
Information we collect
What mono+ accesses on your device
Camera — Required to capture photos and video. Images are saved directly to your camera roll. We do not upload or transmit your photos or videos.
Microphone — Required for video recording. Audio is saved with your video to your camera roll only.
Location — Optional. If you enable Location in Settings, GPS coordinates are embedded in your photo and video metadata (EXIF data). This data never leaves your device unless you share the file yourself. Location is off by default.
Photo Library — Required to save captures to your camera roll. We do not read, scan, or access existing photos.
Email and communications
When you give us your email
If you submit your email through our website or in-app opt-in, we store it solely to notify you about mono+ updates and releases. We use no third-party email marketing services that profile or resell subscriber data.

Analytics and tracking
What we do not do
- We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (no Firebase, no Amplitude, no Mixpanel)
- We do not track usage patterns or behaviour within the app
- We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- We do not share any data with social media platforms
- We do not use cookies or tracking pixels on this website
Data storage
Where your data lives
All app data — your saved looks, presets, settings, and captures — lives entirely on your device. Nothing is synced to our servers. If you delete the app, all data is removed.
Email addresses submitted through our website are stored on servers hosted in Australia, operated by Gramercy Park Industries Pty Ltd. Access is restricted to essential personnel only.
Children
Age requirements
mono+ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted their information to us, contact us at darkroom@monoplus.pro and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
How we handle updates
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify users via the app or email where appropriate. Continued use of mono+ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
